I believe every new mother/birther/parent should have a Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, and Newborn Care, Specialist. I have worked with children of all ages and totally see a correlation between the care at infancy and a child’s development into adulthood. Not only the benefits for baby but for parents (especially new mom’s) for the first few weeks. I strive to create an impactful pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experiences. I use massage, music, aromatherapy, visualization, breathing, and tips on positioning as a means of improving the birthing experience overall regardless of ethnicity, social-economic status, prior knowledge of birthing options or prior birthing experience.
Working with children and families has always been my passion. My first job at the age of 14 was a preschool teacher’s assistant and the passion for working with children has never left.
Having experience with all age levels I understand that the care of the mother during pregnancy and after birth plays a role in a child's development and even into adulthood.
As a Postpartum Doula and Certified Newborn Care Specialist, one of my most important roles is to help “mother the mother” and nurture the entire family as they transition into life with a newborn.  I ’m confident that I can provide physical and emotional support, along with advocating, and helping with your parental decisions during these precious moments of life.
Addition to training I have worked in early childhood development and education as a preschool teacher, teacher, program director, and family support coordinator.
I have over 20 years’ experience working with children and their families. My experience has prepared me to understand a family’s unique needs while bringing calmness and focus to the entire family during challenging times.
When I’m not directly working with families I’m creating all natural body products for the whole family especially mommy.
I proudly serve clients in the East Bay, San Francisco, Sonoma County, Napa Valley, and Solano County areas of Northern California.
